About the Role:
As a Cover Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity and fostering a positive learning environment. Embrace the versatility of being a Cover Teacher and contribute to the educational journey of young minds in Blandford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to mixed-age groups, ensuring all students make progress.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote a focus on learning.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure students’ academic and personal development.
- Provide feedback to students on their work and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups.
- A flexible, proactive approach to teaching and supporting students.
- Excellent communication skills.
