Major Recruitment are recruiting Laser Operators for a client near Gateshead. This is an immediate start, full-time and permanent for the right candidates. Candidates must have previous experience operating Bystronic or Trumpf Laser cutting machines.
Our client is a leading supplier of engineering services and due to growth, are looking to add to their workforce.
Duties include:
- Setting and operating 2D Laser machines.
- Working from engineering drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Work with quality assurance departments to maintain high standards.
Candidates must have:
- Proficiency in operating 2D laser machines.
- Experience of operating Trumpf or Bystronic machines.
- Understand general laser profiling processes.
- Ability to work under own guidance or as part of a team.
Hours of work and pay rate are:
- 2 shift rotation - 6am to 2pm (Monday to Friday)
- 2pm to 00:30(Monday to Wednesday) & 2pm to 23:30 ( Friday)
- Full-time hours.
- 13.00 to 14.13 (PAYE)
