- Our client in Newcastle is seeking a Plasma Operator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
- The role offers a pay rate of £15.00 - £16.00 per hour along with 25 days of holidays plus bank holidays.
- The operator will be responsible for the safe operation of an assigned machine and achieving manufacturing targets.
- Candidates should have experience in plasma cutting and the ability to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
- The position requires adherence to health and safety guidelines and the ability to support trainees and new starters.
Package:
Rate of pay: 15.00 - 16.00 per hour
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
Position:
Responsible for the safe day to day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure all plasma cutting is carried out on time
- Ensure all profiles are of good quality to the internal / external customer
- To support and supply both internal and external customer base
- Implement and sustain 5S standards, with a target of 12+
- Achieve efficiency levels to 95% target
- Carry out all duties with due diligence.
- Carry out all duties within H&S guidelines.
- Help and support trainees and new starters.
- Complete any other duties as requested
