The role

As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Your key tasks will include:

Conducting comprehensive inspections of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted, and laser-cut components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Performing first off, patrol, batch, and visual inspections using precision inspection equipment.

Completing First Article inspection reports according to various client specifications.
Identifying and promptly reporting any deviations, defects, or non-conformities.
Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Keeping accurate records of inspection results and quality documentation, including updating the ERP system.
Assisting in the development and enhancement of quality control processes and procedures.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to boost product quality and efficiency within an ISO-controlled environment.
Effectively communicating quality-related information to relevant stakeholders.

You will have a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or equivalent proven experience in a similar quality inspection role within the precision engineering sector. You should demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
A strong grasp of quality control principles and practices.
Proficiency in using various measurement tools and equipment.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to detect defects and inconsistencies.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to upholding high-quality standards.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
The ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and management at all levels.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, CAD software).
CMM experience would be a plus.
