Team Leader - Night Shift

Our Client is a leading manufacturing company in the aerospace sector committed to quality and innovation.  As they continue to expand their operations they are seeking a Night Shift Team Lead to join their Ceramic Shell Line Team.

As operational lead on late/nightshift you will be involved in processing castings and asked to carry out a variety of tasks in the factory, including manufacturing and logistics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operating the CSL Robot – loading, unloading and operational management.
  • Hand Dipping.
  • Slurry mixing and testing.
  • Operating the autoclave.
  • Patching and firing of moulds.
  • Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant Technique card and Works Instruction.
  • Manual handling.
  • Loading furnaces.
  • Pressure injecting wax patterns.
  • Shotblasting urgent parts and packing them for despatch

Additionally as a Team leader you will be accountable for First aid and Health and Safety issues after 6pm and be responsible for locking up the building at Midnight. A first aid certificate and counterbalance forklift license would be advantageous, but training will be given to the right candidate.

Hours - Full-time - 46 hours per week.

Monday to Thursday 6PM-6AM**

***Please be aware you will be required to work the day shift 6AM-6PM until fully trained, up to 3 months. A 15%-night shift premium will be added once fully trained and working the night shift.
