The Role and School

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities?

A large secondary school in Crosby, Merseyside is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 & KS4 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This full-time role starts in January 2025 and has strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary school aged children

-          Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis

-          A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
