Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit an electrical assembly operative for their client based in Blyth. This is a long term ongoing temporary position with options of going permanent for the perfect candidate.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Hand assembling the product together ensuring a high quality finished product.
  • Filling in and finishes made using equipment and materials supplied.
  • Inspecting the product and assembling to meet the high specification.
  • Inscribing by hand where needed.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • A strong team player with the ability to work effectively as part of a large production team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external parties where necessary.
  • Experience of hand assembly with electronics.
  • Excellent hand-eye co-ordination and a high level of manual dexterity to competently handle the delicate and intricate parts.
  • Use of computers on a daily basis.
  • The ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, tenacity and willingness for continuous improvement and learning.
  • Once fully trained and competent, the ability to train and coach colleagues on specific tasks and processes.
