An exciting opportunity for a recent geology, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or environmental engineering graduate looking for their first exciting step in their career has presented itself, near Cornwall. This Junior Geotechnical Engineer role will involve varied and technically challenging work - carrying out site investigations, phase 1 desktop studies and developing remediation strategies. You'll be writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out desktop studies, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock logging and recommending and implementing foundation and remediation designs.

Therefore, to be considered for the Junior Geotechnical Engineer role you should have:

  • A degree in geology, geoscience, civil engineering or geotechnical engineering (or similar).
  • Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
  • Be commutable to Cornwall area.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
