Zest have partnered with a We're looking for a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our weekend team at a fast-paced food production site. You'll support production by ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery
* Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and support root cause analysis
* Communicate effectively with production teams and other departments
* Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety at all times
What we are looking for:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
* Strong fault-finding skills (with or without technical drawings)
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
* A hands-on, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
