Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our clients team in South Cornwall. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services including case management and health assessment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting health assessments and pre-employment medical screenings.
- Managing and supporting employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Developing and implementing health promotion and education programs.
- Conducting risk assessments and advising on workplace safety.
- Maintaining accurate health records and reporting on health trends.
- Collaborating with management to develop occupational health policies and procedures.
- Providing emergency care and first aid as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
- Proven experience in an occupational health setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using occupational health software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
