Job Title: Engineering Team Leader
Location: Cornwall (Commutable from: Plymouth, Bodmin, Callington, Launceston, Davidstow, St Neot)
Salary: 55,000 - 60,000
Zest have teamed up with a highly established manufacturing company in the heart of the Southwest. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take on a skilled engineering team leader to manage the day-to-day operations on site.

Similar roles include Engineering supervisor, Engineering manager, Maintenance engineer, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing technician, continuous improvement engineer, maintenance technician, Multi-skilled engineer

Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the engineering manager to Manage the day to day running of the engineering processes.
* Improve site performance through root cause analysis and continuous improvement schedules.
* Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team
* Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and offering backing when needed.
* Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within factory areas.
* Ensure work is equally distributed between the team ensuring schedules are followed
* Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions
* Ensure the accuracy and completion of plant maintenance
What we are looking for:
* City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical Engineering
* Experience managing others in a fast-paced production environment, including performance management
* Background in working with food or manufacturing environment.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
