We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (NMC Registered) to join a busy Psych Liaison Team based in Bognor. This is a vital role supporting patients in the A&E department, ensuring they receive timely mental health assessments and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for patients in the A&E department.
  • Providing immediate support and interventions to individuals in mental health crises.
  • Signposting or referring patients to suitable follow-up services for ongoing care.
  • Contributing to risk assessments and ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
Essential Requirements:
  • Professional Registration: Valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
  • Experience: Previous experience in liaison psychiatry, A&E, or crisis mental health settings.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, risk management, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Availability: Ability to start promptly and work full-time long days (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM).
