My client is based on the South Coast in sunny Bognor Regis, and looking to expand its technical team.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to assist in development of new products and maintenance/ improvements to the existing range. This role would suit individuals who have hands on refrigeration experience and basic electrical knowledge.Â
Designing and manufacturing bespoke precision-controlled fridges, freezers and incubators from design concept and prototype stage, through to full production and despatch. They are capable of building products that can reliably maintain any temperature between -50ºC and +85ºC.Company benefits include onsite parking, 29 days annual leave, 4 day working week, company pension scheme, paid time off for medical appointments and casual dress code.

- Responsible for the development of new productsÂ
- Maintenance and improvement of existing range of products
Main duties and responsibilities
- Working closely with the CAD designers, you will lead in the development and manufacture of refrigeration systems on prototype units for testing and evaluation.
- Carry out performance testing of refrigerators and refrigeration systems
- Propose appropriate design improvements and potential cost savings across our range of products
- Provide technical support to our production team to resolve issues.
- Field visits as required to provide on-site customer support.
- Develop quality control procedures for new refrigeration designs to ensure consistency.
- Ability to self-educate to overcome new technical challenges and keep abreast of the latest innovations within the industry.
Essential Criteria & Experience

Sound knowledge of refrigeration principlesÂ

Must have F-Gas catergory 1 or 2

Basic IT skillls- Word Excel and Outlook
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent refrigeration experience
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD
- Basic electrical knowledgeÂ
