This role involves delivering lessons in the absence of a class teacher, ensuring students continue to learn and progress through the curriculum.Ideal Candidates:

  • Passionate about working with young people and love learning
  • Considering a career in teaching (e.g. PGCE)
  • Qualified teachers seeking flexible work or additional experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students and deliver pre-prepared resources in the absence of a teacher
  • Promote student engagement and support their progress
  • Create a calm and productive learning environment
  • Set and maintain high expectations and standards
  • Follow school systems to ensure a disruption-free learning environment
  • Establish positive relationships with students

Role Details:

  • Teach students across the secondary age range
  • Deliver lessons using pre-prepared resources across multiple subjects
  • Ensure students complete assigned work to the best of their ability
