We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in new business development, particularly within the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key manufacturing clients, and driving revenue growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand clients needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities. Prepare and present detailed business proposals and reports to senior management.

Are you right for this role?

  • Prior experience of working within a business development role is essential
  • Experience dealing with medium to large manufacturing customers across Scotland and the North East is essential
  • Knowledge of monthly forecast and annual planning
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • UK Driving license
  • Flexibility to travel across Scotland and the North East
