Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor to assist in delivering a civils packageon a Water Treatment Works site in Bolsover.
The initial site is running until Christmas with possible further extension (TBC). The scope of works includes:new drainage, drawpits, ducting, RC foundation slabs, small retaining wall, concrete footpaths and delivery bay.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
- Setting out- using relevant kit
- As-built surveys
- QA
- ITP's (Inspection Test Plans) etc.
- Quality control on site
- Updating site specific documentation
- Management of direct labour
Experience required:
- Candidates should have proven experience asSite Engineerwith a principal contractor on heavy civil engineering / Water projects
- Must be strong with quality related duties - QA, ITP's, ITR's
- Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.
- Any qualifications such as SMSTS, Temp Works etc. are beneficial.
Remuneration:
A rate of up to 350 per day (doe). Either paid CIS or LTD outside IR-35.
