Your New Role As Finance Director:
Reporting to the onsite MD, you will ensure that the business strategy is financially stress tested and challenged, integrated into the budgeting, and forecasting processes and tracked/delivered against appropriate financial review mechanisms. Duties will include timely production of monthly and annual reporting, support the financial implications of business activities and support planning initiatives through robust financial data, management information, analysis, reports and recommendations. You will represent the business and support any new finance initiatives and projects driven. Oversee and be responsible alongside the National Service Centre Financial Controller for the annual statutory audit. You will review and drive internal controls to ensure financial systems and processes are robust, compliant and support the needs of the business and minimise financial risk to the business. You will manage in liaison with Group, company insurance, company cars, company pensions and life cover, company tax matters including VAT.
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
You will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified. You will have an achievement led cv with a track record of change and getting results. You will be hands-on, able to adapt to and embrace change. You will have worked for around a £10m turnover business within a complex structure. While you can be autonomous, you must be able to make key decisions with little assistance, so a real depth of knowledge is required. You will be technically strong have a real desire to drive the business forward. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to drive change management and show a passion and energy for driving the department forward.
