Axon Moore is seeking a Management Accountant for a well-established business in Bolton.
The role requires nearly or newly qualified candidates (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with strong month-end exposure and excellent Excel skills.
Key responsibilities include the production of month-end accounts, accruals and prepayments, annual statutory accounts, and cashbook controls.
The position offers a competitive salary, excellent progression opportunities, study support, and a hybrid working schedule.
Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Axon Moore are partnering with an excellent and well-established business in Bolton to recruit a new Management Accountant.The candidate will need an acute attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to work to tight reporting deadlines, coupled with a confident, hardworking approach. Responsibilities include:

Production of month end accounts
Accruals & prepayments
Annual statutory accounts
Quarterly IFRS submissions
Cashbook controls
Budgets and forecasts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ad hoc project work, including ongoing improvements and efficiencies

The ideal candidate:

Nearly or newly qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Strong month end exposure
Strong Excel skills
Pro-active in nature and have a willingness to be hands on
