Description

  • Managing day-to-day accounting operations
  • Preparing financial reports and summaries
  • Processing and posting of journals
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Overseeing the management of financial systems and budgets
  • Providing insight on financial planning and budgeting
  • Overseeing the Payroll process
  • Supporting the financial decision-making process
  • Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate audits
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the property industry's financial regulations and trends

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • An Accountancy Qualification (ACCA/ ACA/ CIPFA/ CIMA)
  • Worked in practice before and looking to work within industry, or worked within a Financial Accountant role previously
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
