Description
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations
- Preparing financial reports and summaries
- Processing and posting of journals
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Overseeing the management of financial systems and budgets
- Providing insight on financial planning and budgeting
- Overseeing the Payroll process
- Supporting the financial decision-making process
- Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate audits
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the property industry's financial regulations and trends
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- An Accountancy Qualification (ACCA/ ACA/ CIPFA/ CIMA)
- Worked in practice before and looking to work within industry, or worked within a Financial Accountant role previously
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
