Paying up to £35,000, this Greater Manchester Not for Profit organisation are looking for a Financial Accountant. The individual will play a crucial role in supporting the monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting as well as external reporting.

The Role 

  • The production of cash flow reports including forecasting future cashflows to allow the organisation to be compliant with their policies
  • Ensuring that all relevant taxes, including VAT, CIS and corporation tax are correctly accounted and the required returns are submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • External tax advisor’s liaison
  • The production of timely and accurate financial information to the Finance Manager
  • Administration duties of financial systems, mandates and payment processes.
  • Providing support, commentary and financial advice to stakeholders in the business to inform decision making, recognising the services delivered and the framework in which the business operates.
  • To provide financial information and explanations to assist in the production of annual financial statements in accordance with accounting policies.

THE PERSON

  • Ideally part qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel experience 
  • Effective communication with the ability to foster collaboration across departments and cultivate robust relationships.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and a readiness to tackle fresh challenges
