Your new companyA reputable company located in Bolton is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to become a permanent, full-time member of their team. With a current financial turnover exceeding £100 million, this organisation has experienced significant growth, doubling in size over recent years. They have ambitious plans to double their turnover again within the next 3-5 years. This is a thrilling opportunity to join a dynamic and stable business, where many employees have been with the company for over 5 years.Your new roleAs a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director with the preparation of management accounts. Your responsibilities will include handling VAT returns, performing balance sheet reconciliations, managing accruals and prepayments, and making stock adjustments. Additionally, you will assist in financial analysis and forecasting to provide valuable insights for decision-making.You will also be actively involved in projects aimed at driving continuous improvements within the finance function. This includes identifying areas for enhancement, implementing new processes, and monitoring the performance of these initiatives. Your ability to report on project outcomes and suggest further improvements will be essential in ensuring the finance department operates efficiently and effectively.
