RG Consultancy are working with an excellent manufacturer based in Bolton who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their accounts team on a permanent, part-time basis.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this Management Accountant role will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts. This role will play a key part in helping the business to continue its growth by focusing on driving financial performance and improving controls.
As part of a small team, the responsibilities would include:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledger
- VAT returns
- Job costings
- Cashflow management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with external accountants at year end/audit
- Continual process improvements
This Management Accountant role would be for approx 3 days a week, but they are flexible on hours for the right candidate and could work around school hours if needed. There is a small team in place covering purchase ledger and credit control and this role would be to pull everything together at month end and report on financial performance across the business.
