We are working with Bolton Council to find two Administrators on a temporary basis.Job Type: Full-time Mon-Fri 9-5Location: Bolton Town Hall. Office based.Hourly rate: £12.66 per hour.Length of role: Initial 3 months.We are seeking a Financial Administrator to join our Adult’s Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial administration, excellent numeracy skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records.Day to Day of the role:-          Undertake tasks related to the payment of accounts and collection of income.-          Process invoices in line with the Authority’s procedures, including verification and coding.-          Handle the payment of allowances to clients or raising of invoices, including the preparation and amendment of payment schedules and liaison with clients/suppliers.-          Prepare invoices for payments due to the Department.-          Administer departmental systems related to payments or income from clients.Required Skills & Qualifications:-          Demonstrated accurate numeracy skills for correct data input.-          Ability to check and reconcile computer data.-          Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for data input and retrieval.-          Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, develop, and prioritise work.-          Effective communication skills to present information verbally and in writing to various audiences.
