Are you looking for a new position with an immediate start - or possibly know someone else who may?. 6-month fixed term contract£13.00 per hourMonday to Friday (flexible hours) Free parkingOffice basedI am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a 6 month contract for a client based in the BL2 post code area of Bolton. This role is to support and aid their finance function, primarily aiding the purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations whilst completing other finance tasks.Duties will include:Purchase Ledger Management

  • 3-way matching of material invoices
  • Posting of admin invoices
  • Filing of invoices
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Managing review of courier bill charges
  • Review of bills Vs list price of products, identifying discrepancies
  • Manage credit accounts/payment terms and discount reviews

Sales Ledger Management

  • Manage debt chasing and debt collection
  • Allocate debt receipts and cash collection
  • Credit limit request management and reviews for new and existing customers
  • Refund processing and reviews
  • Conduct regular VAT and transaction testing on UK/EU and USA transactions to ensure correct VAT is being collected
  • Weekly Cash and Merchant Reconciliations
