Sonic Summary

We are seeking HGV drivers for the local council in Bury with immediate starts available.
Drivers will work with the waste team, primarily driving bin wagons and may occasionally assist as loaders, always receiving the driver's rate of pay.
Candidates should have at least 6 months of HGV driving experience and be over 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
The position offers a pay rate of £14.36 per hour, with weekly payments and potential increases after 13 weeks.
Shifts are from Tuesday to Friday starting at 06:30, with opportunities for overtime on weekends and bank holidays.

We are recruiting for HGV drivers to work for the local council in Bury, immediate starts available.

You will be joining the waste team on site driving the bin wagons, working daily with 2 bin loaders, driving or loading the vehicle collecting public waste, on the odd occasion you may be required to work as a loader however you will always be paid the drivers rate.

For the suitable drivers there will be ongoing work available, experience working outdoors/with waste is preferred not essential as long as you have HGV experience.

Hours of work are Tuesday to Friday 06:30 start, job and finish

Requirements:

Held driving licence for over 6 months years
Over the age of 21 due to insurance purposes
No DR10 or IN10 or more than 6 points on your licence
All work is PAYE

Shifts:

0630 start
Working Tuesday to Friday
There is also potential for overtime Weekends and Bank holidays

Pay:

14.36
Weekly pay
Increasing after 13 weeks
