Our client is a specialist in Water Hygiene & Treatment, with over two decades of operating across the UK. They are seeking a driven Water Hygiene Engineer to service a varied portfolio of client contracts to a high standard. The role will include PPM and some reactive duties, as such, the role will require someone who is adaptable and can turn their hand to a wide range of tasks. Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to hold some experience of carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments, but this is not essential
- Will have completed industry-relevant training courses, such as: Cleans & Disinfections and TMV Servicing
- Able to complete service reports and update logbooks
- Flexible to travel as required
The Role:
- Undertaking a wide range of ACOP L8 duties across Healthcare, Commercial and Local Authority client sites
- Cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing and maintenance
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Outlet flushing
- Chlorinations
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Working to agreed deadlines
