A large secondary School based in Bolton is looking to appoint an experienced and skilled Site Manager. The Site Manager plays a crucial role in the daily upkeep and maintenance of the school's site.Location: Bolton (BL3)Hours: 10am - 6pm (Full-time)Contract Type: Temporary, temp to perm availableStart Date: ASAPKey Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead the team of cleaners and undertake cleaning duties
Complete basic maintenance within the school building as required (not requiring a contractor)
Maintain the security of the school by locking/unlocking entrances and exits and reporting potential security breaches
Test and operate alarm systems where appropriate
Complete daily risk assessments of the premises
Act as a main keyholder for the school and respond to call-outs, liaising with emergency services if necessary
Order relevant equipment and oversee their receipt, distribution and collection
Undertake routine maintenance on faulty equipment, reporting more serious faults to the relevant person
Arrange, liaise with and supervise contractors performing higher level repairs and maintenance

Key Skills/Experience:

Experience working as a Site Manager/Supervisor within an Educational Setting
Experience in performing minor repairs
Experience in liaising with external contractors
Strong knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Able to use a range of equipment relevant to the role
Experience in supervising staff
