EYFS TA

Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a knowledgeable Teaching Assistant for Reception class in a good primary school in Bolton. This Reception TA role is to start in September and is required for the full academic year.

As an outstanding primary school, standards and expectations are high. You will need excellent curriculum knowledge and clear communication skills. You will be working within an organised and experienced team in a thriving EYFS setting. As Reception TA, you will be responsible for leading groups of children, and working with individuals, on a wide range of learning activities. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of Phonics, how the letters and sounds are taught, and how to pronounce each accurately.

You must have prior experience in EYFS, either in a TA role or on placement. As Reception TA, your duties will also include making assessments, managing behaviour, preparing resources and establishing learning areas. All staff in the setting support children with SEN.

This Reception TA role is full-time and has a daily pay rate of £85 to £100 depending on experience.

Essential requirements:

• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS
• Relevant qualification such as EYFS degree or TA qualification, Level 2 or Level 3
• Professional references covering the last two full years
• Teaching Assistant experience in EYFS
