Reeson Education is seeking a nurturing and committed Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant Early Years setting in a welcoming primary school in the BL2 area of Bolton. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible, supporting across both Nursery and Reception classes.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in this inclusive two-form entry school's EYFS team. You'll provide group, 1:1 and whole-class support across the Early Years provision, working closely with the class teachers to foster a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

The school is known for its warm, community feel and supportive staff who will welcome the right Teaching Assistant with open arms.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide high-quality support as a Teaching Assistant across Nursery and Reception.
  • Work with children individually and in small groups to support early learning and development.
  • Collaborate with class teachers and EYFS leads to deliver exciting and creative learning opportunities.
  • Support pupils with additional needs to help them access the EYFS curriculum.
  • Encourage children's independence, confidence, and social development through positive relationships.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:

  • Be a warm, reliable, and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for Early Years.
  • Have experience supporting children in EYFS settings (Nursery/Reception).
  • Be confident delivering phonics, early maths, and play-based learning activities.
  • Be able to adapt to the individual needs of young learners.
  • Show excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • References covering the last 2-3 years.
  • A strong commitment to your role as a Teaching Assistant.
