The Opportunity* An opportunity has arisen to join an improving team within the Calibration & Maintenance Department for Semi-Skilled Electrical Calibration Operator. This will involve working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.Role responsibilities* Carry out calibration Electrical of COTS Equipment using METCAL.* Maintain calibration test records and update databases.* Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment* Carry out Electrical Safety Check* Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures.* Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards.* Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.
Role requirements (skills, training and qualifications)The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.
Proven experience in planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.* BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.* Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.* Manual handling training.Please note that in order to apply. you will need to be eligible for SC (Secret Level) UK Security Clearance.
