This is a fantastic opportunity join our dynamic team as an Electronic Engineering Technician within our Production Design Support Department supporting the delivery of our complex and sophisticated products.   

Job Title: Electronic Engineering Technician

Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience 

Location: Bolton

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspection and verification of engineering work and manufactured equipment against defined standards and specifications
  • Carrying out a range of tests and technical investigations across a range of products to ensure they meet agreed specifications.
  • Providing support in resolving problems and issues and, where appropriate, capturing non-compliances using established standards and tools
  • Keeping full and accurate records of all work and activities carried out.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
  • Proven level of experience in a similar role (eg. hands-on laboratory / Production operator).
  • HNC/HND in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
