Accounts Coordinator - Bolton - £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This is an excellent and rare opportunity time to join a progressive and growing company based in central Bolton (close to the train station) who like to promote and develop from within.

Being an Accounts Coordinator means that you will assist the Head of Accounts in all financial functions of the business. This is a developmental role, which will require learning lots of different areas of the accounts and gradually taking on more responsibility over time. The role will include assisting the Head of Accounts in any way necessary, as well as the following duties: * Some elements of payroll, including processing pay checks, benefits, tax and pensions. * Helping to keep track of transactions, invoices, debt and purchases within the company. * Learning to generate financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Assisting with collating the paperwork for the end of the financial year. * Helping to track and report the company VAT. * Considering opportunities for improvement and researching solutions, analysing the suitability and effectiveness of ideas, and feeding back to the Head of Accounts. * Learning new software, working with new systems and keeping up to date with changes to the law. * Liaising with other departments to chase up missed paperwork and investigate discrepancies.

The role will suit someone who enjoys multi-tasking and assisting in other areas where needed, a confident telephone manner and an eagerness to learn and develop is also essential.

The company offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, 35 hours per week, (8.30am - 4.30pm or 9.30am - 5.30pm), cycle to work scheme, an on site gym and study support.
