The Opportunity

Joining the KBS Corporate team as a Deal Executive you will play a key role in the management of a high volume of business sale transactions (£750k - £3m EV deals) and have the opportunity to continually develop your transaction experience and progress your career.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and deal mandates
  • Leading regular communication with clients and potential acquirers
  • Negotiating offers and complex deals
  • Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
  • Researching and identifying potential acquirers
  • Building relationships with clients, trade acquirers, private equity investors and other professional advisers

This is a varied role, where no two days are the same, and is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven person looking to start or develop a career in mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and training from an experienced team of Deal Executives, Researchers and Directors.

As a Transaction Adviser/ Deal Executive, you will be targeted on completed deals with uncapped commission paid throughout the year.

Benefits will include a competitive salary and commission scheme (paid on deal completions), 28 days holiday rising to 33 (including bank holidays), Pension Scheme, Share Save Scheme, Healthcare Discount Scheme and regular team events and incentives.

The Person

You will be an ambitious individual of Graduate calibre seeking a career within the fast-paced and highly commercial arena of Business Sales and Corporate Finance. You will be able to meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate in a business, management, administration or finance related subject
  • At least 12 months experience within a business / commercial environment
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • IT literate - experience using basic Microsoft package essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
  • Enthusiastic about meeting new people and building long-lasting relationships
