The School and Role

Maternity cover for 9 -12 month period within a school in Bolton. Early Years Teacher required to support a maternity leave cover withing a 35 place Mainstream school setting.

Would suit an experienced Early Years Professional or ECT with previous EYFS practice prior to their teacher status.

The school is set in the Little Lever with a current “good” status for Ofsted. The school work hard to provide a caring and nurturing environment for both children and staff to enable staff to valued.

Requirement

To be considered for the role as a Early Years Teacher, you will: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and early phonics, able to present a curriculum that is demanding, stimulating and sustaining pupils interest.
  • Attend and take part in additional CPD sessions.
  • Enhanced and varied classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Supply and participating and interactive lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils and encourage a love of learning.
  • Actively record, assess and monitor progress and adapt based on a well-rounded view.
