Our client has an opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator to join them on a 12 month contract basis. This will involve working on Commercial Off the Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.
Role: Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator
Location: Bolton
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: 23.91 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out calibration Electrical of COTS Equipment using METCAL
- Maintain calibration test records and update databases
- Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment
- Carry out Electrical Safety Check
- Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures
- Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department
Requirements:
- The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus. They should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
- BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
- Ability to work to instructions.
- Manual handling training.
- ESD training - desired.
