Our client has an opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator to join them on a 12 month contract basis. This will involve working on Commercial Off the Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.

Role: Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator
Location: Bolton
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: 23.91 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out calibration Electrical of COTS Equipment using METCAL
  • Maintain calibration test records and update databases
  • Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment
  • Carry out Electrical Safety Check
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures
  • Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department


Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus. They should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
  • BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work to instructions.
  • Manual handling training.
  • ESD training - desired.
