Position: HR Advisor

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

Location: Bolton (onsite)

Do you enjoy the variety of being a generalist HR Advisor? Well this position is perfect for someone who likes the breadth of doing lots of different things each day to keep it all fresh.

The company operate in the Education sector and are looking for a HR Advisor to join their small but high performing team. This is a permanent position to start in the new year.

About the role:

As a HR Advisor you'll have your own remit of key stakeholders who you will support in what is a true generalist HR Advisory service. You will be the first point of contact for HR queries and advice, manage the end to end recruitment including onboarding and exit interviews, manage employee relations matters, and support with policy work.

You'll be dealing with the full range of employee relations issues so need to be comfortable at dealing with sickness, performance, disciplinaries etc.

As a team they are focused on continuous improvement so you'll have the opportunity to pick up certain processes for review from time to time, looking at how they can be enhanced. As an example, this could be to review the exit process and assessing whether the current questions asked and processes are as effective as they could be.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the work we're seeking someone with a minimum 1-2 years experience as a HR Advisor as this can't be a development role for someone wanting to become an Advisor unfortunately. Ideally you will have your Level 5 CIPD but study support can also be offered.

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced HR Advisor who has solid ER experience
  • 1-2 years previous HR Advisor experience as a minimum
  • A positive attitude and friendly personality are key to not only fit in with the current HR team but also to effectively engage with your stakeholders and build those essential relationships
