NOC Engineer - Hybrid (Bolton) - £34k + benefitsWe're working with a leading security solutions company who are looking to onboard an NOC engineer to their team based in Bolton. This requirement is testament to their success over the past few years, and is a real opportunity to work with some exciting clients at the cutting edge of Cyber Security. The role comes with a competitive salary benefits package, including a generous annual leave allowance and pension scheme. Key Responsibilities: - Provide remote support while identifying issues affecting client systems and services, and provide 2nd line diagnosis. - Provide an escalation route within the NOC for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support functions for Comms and Telephony - Proactively monitor and manage services to all customers. - Ensure consistent compliance to company processes, procedures, and standards. - As part of the team you will be responsible for vulnerability management of Managed Service Customers using ITL tools (netbox, monitoring platform), arranging maintenance windows with clients, implementing changes for end users, and following Change Management processes to write changes. Requirements: The most suitable candidates will have a combination of the following: - IT-related degree (or equivalent). - A familiarity with networking equipment and technologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well in a pressurised environment.
