- Acting as a first point of contact for onsite support, and work with other users remotely to provide effective IT support services.
- Allocate incoming high level IT requests to other engineers as required.
- Servicing requests from the internal helpdesk system to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Take an active involvement in IT system and software update projects as required.
- Managing IT Requirements for new starters, role changes and leavers.
- Taking responsibility for computer builds, hardware and software support, hardware repairs and general troubleshooting.
- User account setups on the internal system.
- Support with both mobile and tablet set ups and troubleshooting.
- Provide support to MS Teams meeting rooms as required.
- Ensure that all IT support logs are kept updated as required.
- Purchasing of new IT equipment and parts as required.
- Self-motivated attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Be adaptable to changing priorities with strong multitasking skills.
- Good general IT knowledge with ideally 1+ years’ experience at 1st line or above.
- Experience of working in Windows and Office 365 environments.
- Active Directory experience.
- Local and remote support experience.
- Service desk experience, and ITIL (not essential).
