UK Staffing Group are currently looking for an IT Technician for a well-established business in Heywood, Manchester. The successful IT Technician will join a flourishing managed service provider, they are known for developing and supporting their IT talent. As a business they aim to support & consult businesses with their technological needs and provide solutions where possible.

Job Role:The successful candidate will have some experience in IT support and must be able to understand first line issues with the opportunity to learn 2nd line issues. Working from issue requests on the system your role will be to ensure IT equipment is at the highest availability for their clients by troubleshooting hardware, server systems and backing up data. The role requires a car as you will be required to visit client’s sites to fix their issues in person. Your role will be based between the office and meeting clients.

Their team is made up of self-motivated and experienced individuals who can offer training and development support. Essential skills/experience required:

  • Drivers Licence & Car
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in IT Support.
  • Understanding of Windows Server OS Systems
  • Windows Desktop OS Systems

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Managed Service Provider Background
  • Data hardware backup experience
