Inventory Controller Bolton£17.80 rising to £18.80 after 12 weeks 12-month contract Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a are supporting a large global manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join their team on a 12 month contract basis. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who has experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.
THE ROLE:Some of your responsibilities as a Manufactory Controller:
- As an Inventory Controller you will be involved in the issue, receipt and management of stock and inventory in a manufacturing environment.
- Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.
- Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules.
- Updating computer database.
- Packing including the use of hand tools.
- Kitting activity.
- Loading and unloading of Lorries.
THE CANDIDATE:
- As a Manufactory Controller, you will need to have to experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive and able to take initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and willing to work in a shifts.
- Manual handling training. (required)
- Lifting & Slinging training, including overhead cranes. (required)
- ESD training. (required)
- Good IT skills
- Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP.
- Fork lift truck licence.
