Inventory Controller Bolton£17.80 rising to £18.80 after 12 weeks 12-month contract Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a are supporting a large global manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join their team on a 12 month contract basis. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who has experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.

THE ROLE:Some of your responsibilities as a Manufactory Controller:

  • As an Inventory Controller you will be involved in the issue, receipt and management of stock and inventory in a manufacturing environment.
  • Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.
  • Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules.
  • Updating computer database.
  • Packing including the use of hand tools.
  • Kitting activity.
  • Loading and unloading of Lorries.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • As a Manufactory Controller, you will need to have to experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and willing to work in a shifts.
  • Manual handling training. (required)
  • Lifting & Slinging training, including overhead cranes. (required)
  • ESD training. (required)
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP.
  • Fork lift truck licence.
