We are currently seeking a dynamic Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK's largest Structural Steel companies, with the opportunity to become an integral part in the supply chain for some of the UK's biggest Infrastructure Project. Responsible for ensuring optimising the flow of production is a priority, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery, aligning with legislative requirements. This pivotal role as a Maintenance Engineer aims to guarantee uninterrupted production activities.
Ideal for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent, possessing a robust background in a heavy engineer environment within a similar manufacturing sector. If you want to be an integral part of the supply chain in some of the UK's most exciting projects, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day maintenance support to ensure all productions maintenance requirements are met.
- Attending breakdowns, perform route cause analysis and identify what need rectifying
- Ensure compliance with legislative and safety requirements.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks and handle breakdowns promptly.
- Assisting with all repairs to ensure downtime is minimised
