You'll also need to have expertise working with BS8888 standards for technical product documentation. This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled individual with a passion for design.Skills Required for Mechanical Design Engineer Role:The ideal candidate will have proficiency using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) techniques to define manufacturing tolerances.

Additionally, you'll need experience designing products utilizing BIM software. These skills are critical to the success of the role and will help ensure successful project completion from start through delivery stages.Responsibilities of Mechanical Design Engineer: As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating detailed designs that meet client specifications while adhering to industry standards.

You'll work closely alongside other engineers within the department who specialize in various fields such as electrical design. You'll need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You'll also need to be an excellent communicator, as you'll be liaising directly between teams including management staff members.
