We’re looking for Cover Teachers who are flexible, professional, and committed to making a difference in classrooms across Bolton. Whether you’re a primary teacher or a secondary specialist, we have a range of cover opportunities available—ideal for those seeking a dynamic role with plenty of variety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day classroom cover for absent teachers, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively.
• Follow school plans and ensure continuity of learning for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the different needs of students in each school.
• Ensure all work is marked and feedback is provided to teachers where applicable.
• Follow safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of students at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working in either primary or secondary education (or both) is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new teaching environments.
• A flexible, proactive attitude and a willingness to teach a variety of subjects and age groups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
