Maths Teacher

Maths teacher - Bolton - February start A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work in a popular secondary school in Bolton from after the February half term break on a full time basis until they break for summer in July 2025. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & across the school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch & enhance the pupils learning. You will also be required to mark the students work and provide constructive feedback along the way. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: Location - Bolton Position Maths Teacher (KS3/4)Type of work Teaching Start date January 2025 Likely Duration 1.5 terms End date 18th July 2025 Contract type Temporary Full time Minimum rate of pay from GBP162 per day Hours 8:15am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related) Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date FGM training (essential, again, we can provide training) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide a minimum of two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
