Reed A&F have recently began working with a business who are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will be offered on a temp to perm basis or straight permanent so they are open to people working notice periods and anyone immediately available.
