A Financial Accountant is required for a leading industrial business based on the outskirts of Liverpool. The role requires a meticulous individual with a background in statutory accounts.

Description
Working alongside the Management Accountant and reporting into the Financial Controller, your duties as Financial Accountant will include although will not be limited to:
- Preparing subsidiary and consolidated accounts (FRS 102)
- Performing cashflow forecasting and reporting
- Reconciling balance sheet transactions
- Assisting with year-end audit
- Performing monthly and quarterly VAT returns
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Either a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or looking to complete your studies
- Experience gained in a role with exposure to statutory accounts and working alongside auditors
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
