Hire &Sales Co-Ordinator - Site, Plant & Access Equipment

The Company

  • My client is a leading supplier of site, plant and access equipment for the UK building and construction industry.
  • They are looking for an experienced Hire & Sales Co-Ordinator who has a background in a similar role.

The Role

  • As Hire & Sales Co-Ordinator, you will work closely with customers and transport/operations/dispatch departments to fulfil orders and deliver outstanding service.
  • Processing hire and sales orders from initial enquiry to dispatch.
  • Responding to incoming telephone calls in a positive and enthusiastic manner, converting enquiries to orders where possible and processing.
  • Completing designated tasks to support the department in achieving set targets providing excellent customer service.
  • You will engage with yard personnel to understand product profiles, availability and transport capability.
  • Develop your technical knowledge of products, allowing you to embrace existing and new product developments in the market.
  • Proactively work with existing, lapsed or potential clients, promoting the company's products and services and broadening the customer base.
  • Your background will be in building, construction, site, plant, access equipment, scaffolding, rental or tool hire sectors and you will be very customer focused.
  • You will be enthusiastic, reactive, proactive and driven.
