A market leading company based in Bootle is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join their growing team.
Part of global group my client specialise in the manufacture and supply of award winning composite doors and fire doors for commercial and residential markets. The company is going from strength to strength with exciting growth plans for their UK site.
As a result of this they are growing their CNCteam, and are seeking an addition Machinist to join their growing team.
Your role will involve:
- CNC Machining on 5 Axis Machines
- Using other machines such as beam saws
- Quality Assurance / Control
- Maintaining work areas to ensure safe and productive environment.
- Willingness to participate and promote better working practises and improvements.
- Focusing on producing a quality product, in line with the production planning schedule whilst ensuring targets are met
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- CNC Machining Experience (or extensive experience with other machines such as beam saws as CNC operation can be trained)
- Wood, timeber, furniture manufacture, Composite, or Injection Moulding experience would be useful
- Programming knowledge would be ideal
- Enthusiasm to help improve production processes
- Good communication skills
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, but will eventually be allocated to an afternoon shift of 14.00 - 22.00 once training is complete. You will be offered a good salary and package as well as the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company!
