The role offers a salary of £86 - £90 per day and requires the candidate to work 5 days a week, starting as soon as possible.
Candidates should have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour, and hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
Additional desirable qualifications include training in PEC's, Teach, or Team Teach, as well as a current DBS registered with the update service.
Applicants must have worked with children in the last 2 years and have excellent knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.

ASD Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: £86 - £90 per day

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stages 4 & 5 at a school in Bootle with pupils who have Autism. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is for 5 days per week, and is to start asap.

The ideal candidate for the SEN Teaching Assistant role will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC's, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

In order to be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role we requaire you meet the following criteria;

Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
Previous KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
Two references working with children
Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
