My client is currently seeking a HR Services Manager to join them on a 12-month FTC basis, who has strong experience in data analysis and manipulation, who also possesses a strong awareness of HR policy and procedure, across general HR, Compliance, Payroll & Pension.
Your New Role
Within your new role as HR Services Manager, as a key member of the organisation's HR team, you will support a range of HR initiatives, to contribute to the smooth running of the function. Some of your main responsibilities include;
- Management Information and Data Analysis
- To support as the HR Data Protection Compliance Lead
- Staff engagement and HR support
As HR Services Manager, you will support with a diverse range of tasks, with a large focus on supporting from a data perspective. This will include pulling reports and data analysis/manipulation, paired with the ability to present and share these findings with the senior leadership team. From a governance perspective, you will also act as the HR Data Protection Compliance Lead, ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements in relation to HR processes, policies, and data retention, holding responsibility for governance of the staff handbook. This includes working across HR to ensure appropriate management of HR records, aligned to the organisations record management arrangements.As a key member of the HR function, you will support the team to provide advice regarding general HR, Payroll and Pension queries, supporting with staff queries and escalations where needed - including providing support at staff meetings in a note-taking capacity, providing up-to-date advice where necessary.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Proven ability to articulate key messages (written and verbally) to a wide range of audiences, including senior staff, being able to present information clearly and confidently, with the ability to proactively lead on a range of tasks/projects.
- A clear understanding of HR processes, including payroll & pensions.
- Demonstratable experience of finding ways to improve systems and structures, identifying improvements, and simplifying processes.
- Able to prioritise own workload in a busy environment with often competing priorities, ensuring key deadlines are achieved.
- A knowledge and understanding of the use of Microsoft excel, including the use of formulae.
